Hear Dr. Derek King, nephew of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., discuss education as a catalyst for peace in a message as relevant in 2013 as when his famous uncle spoke here 50 years ago on this day.
The Queens Literature and Art Club of Fort Wayne, featuring some of the city’s most promising talents, will present a series of dramatic, inspiring and motivational monologues portraying the lives of prominent women in African-American history. A complimentary meal will be provided with registration.
